I know the weather isn’t amazing right now in most places, but even in snowy weather, getting outside for a walk is good for you. We get cabin fever really bad in the Midwest, I can only imagine how much worse it is out east or in Canada! A remedy is to have a “if you can’t beat ’em, join ’em” philosophy, grab your dog, or a friend, or both, and get a block or two under your feet. No need to walk miles…If you did this every day, you may find you’re less depressed, and you’ll be able to go those miles when the weather is much better, because you’ll have conditioned yourself a little bit each day!
